Next, highlight the 'trial characteristic' data and use Excel's Edit, Copy command to copy the numbers to the clipboard:
Note the instruction box with the red border which appears below the table. This tells you where to paste the values to adopt the red line as the target. In this case, cell D5 of the worksheet called 'SourceData'.
Switch to the Source data sheet:
